My plans have changed. Can I get a refund for my tickets?

Tickets for the Party of Special Magnificence and the Merry Meadow Picnic are non-refundable; however, there is a purchase protection plan available through the ticketing system.

If your plans have changed, we do allow tickets to transfer to another person by updating your ticket info when you open your ticket via the link found in your original purchase confirmation email. We ask that you contact us immediately when this is done, so there is no issue at check-in. Email us at contact@halflingevents.com

Is there a dress code?

Yes, Halfling Attire is required for attendance. This can be as simple or extravagant as you wish. Please do not dress as any other non-halfling fantasy characters to ensure everyone fully enjoys the party experience. Here is a Pinterest Board for ideas and a fun thrifting video we made!

Is this a family-friendly event?

Yes! The Party of Special Magnificence and Merry Meadow Picnic welcomes Halflings of all ages!

Can I bring outside food & drink?

We encourage you to bring a blanket and a picnic basket full of snacks and treats to enjoy as you wish. We will have water fill stations, but please bring your own container/mug to refill! No outside alcohol will be permitted.

Will there be any sparring with weapons allowed in certain areas?

This is a time of celebration! So, combat is discouraged, and real weapons are not allowed.

Can you clarify the stated goal of this event? Is it intended to be very immersive but low-key and informal? Or is it a mix of immersive and mundane, like a Renaissance Faire?

This is an event for your whole family to enjoy a day of fun. We require everyone to dress in Halfling attire, but elaborate costumes are not necessary. We are trying to make it as accessible as possible for everyone to enjoy. Please see our Pinterest Board here for inspiration! 

Will there be fireworks?

There will not be fireworks at the Merry Meadow Picnic. At the Party of Special Magnificence in September, however…

Are pets allowed?

Pets are not allowed. Service animals are welcome in accordance with the ADA.
